This pear shaped cabochon of high grade Stichtite has beautiful patterns and color. Its color ranges from pink through lilac to a rich purple color. It is formed as an alteration product of chromite containing serpentine. It’s mined near Tasmania, Australia. We purchased this material from John Heusler.
